Whatever may have introduced liquid into your device, there are some precautions you must take in order to prevent as much damage as possible.

• Power down the device: As long as the device is on with liquid inside, there is a risk that the circuit board will short-circuit, which is very harmful for your phone. Turn it off as soon as you possibly can and do not turn it on again until you’ve had a professional look at it.
• Wipe it off: With a towel or soft piece of cloth, clear the liquid off the surface of the phone. Do not use an oven, microwave, or hairdryer to dry it, since these will almost certainly damage the phone.
• Take it to a repair center: The certified technicians at Mirarty have the experience and tools to diagnose needed repairs from liquid intrusion. Take it to us as soon as possible so you can get back to using your phone without extended delay.
• Let it dry: If you are not able to get it to a repair shop right away, you can help your device dry out by storing it in a plastic bag with either rice or silica packets. If neither of these is available, store your phone in a dry, well-ventilated place to let it air-dry. The process usually takes somewhere between 24 and 48 hours before it is fully dry.
